How to Create a Bow Bun | Prom Hairstyles

Have you watched both of our videos, including a BONUS VIDEO from last week? You can find them here:

This week’s tutorial combines features we have shown you how to do before. A Sock Bun and a Hair Bow. This combo has been around a long time, as it has been perfected fabulously by several of our friends on Instagram, including Kimberly0706 and Chicas_Chic. Be sure to check them out!

You can create a sock bun with a hair “donut”, or bun maker, as they are called, or you can create a bun former by cutting the toe out of a tube sock and rolling the sock up.

This updo hairstyle is adorable, and would be perfect for Prom or Homecoming, but equally a beautiful for ballet or dance. It can be dressed up, or down, depending on your mood and style. Kamri prefers to wear this with just about anything, like the denim shirt and white jeans she wore in this video.

Because this bun already has a bow in it, there isn’t any need for accessories!

Please be sure to give this video a BIG “👍” if you loved it, and leave a comment below telling us what your plans are for this SUMMER!
